WHO I AM

Hey, I'm Alex. I own SM Code Forge.

I'm based in Austin, and I build websites for small businesses here and around Central Texas. If you need your first website or want to update the one you have, I'd be happy to talk it through with you.

You don't need to have it all figured out before we talk. Tell me what you do and what you need help with. We can work out what belongs on your website from there.

Before starting SM Code Forge, I worked as a software engineer in a Fortune 500 environment for five years.

A lot of that work came down to understanding what someone needed, building it, and checking that it worked the way they expected. I bring that same care to the websites I build.

I started this business because I wanted to work directly with other business owners. I especially enjoy working with contractors, trades, and family businesses around Austin.

I want people who visit your website to understand what you do and feel comfortable getting in touch.

I'll be the one you talk to and the one building your website. If you have a question or want to change something, you can come straight to me.

We'll start by talking about your business and your customers. I'll ask what you like about your current website, if you have one, and what you wish it did better.

From there, I'll help you decide what you need. That might be a few pages showing your work, explaining your services, and giving people a way to call or request a quote.

I'll show you the website as it comes together so you can tell me what you think. You know your business better than I do, and I want the site to sound like you.
